The Afghan authorities will be provided with operational connections between the WH property and its cultural environment. Local communities will also benefit from the creation of cultural public spaces and services that will favor a more inclusive approach to cultural sites, will create immediate employment opportunities, and contribute to developing sustainable tourism.
