Résumé
This project aims to assist the Afghan Government in enhancing its capacity of fighting against intentional damage to cultural properties and of implementing preparatory measures for the protection of movable and immovable cultural properties. It will do so through training, workshops and Expert Working Groups aimed at providing a practical training regime for the Cultural Heritage Security Force, the Border Police and the MoIC and other relevant Ministries and stakeholders and to develop and implement a policy and procedures framework to better enable the Afghan authorities to address the problem into the future. The project is conceived as a strategic initiative, whose I Phase will be launched under the RP budget currently available.
