Résumé
The project aims at supporting ODA to complement ongoing activities being currently implemented by UNESCO under the European Union’s co-funded intervention Advanced Survey of Hydro-geological Resources in Iraq, Phase II (ASHRI-2). Within the mandate of delivering ASHRI-2 to the People of Iraq, it addresses the urgent need for humanitarian aid to be provided to IDP and refugees concentrating in the north of the country. Special attention thereunder shall be given to the provision of additional supplies in drinking water, as well as an improvement of capacities in the operational and strategic management of trans-boundary resources, both ground- and surface water.
