Résumé
The 1972 Convention has a wide ratification and support for implementation in the countries of the GCC and Yemen. Countries within the cluster share issues and concerns ranging from economic pressure to rapidly develop sites for tourism in their own countries to the protection of their shared heritage in Yemen which suffers from the effects of the current conflict. This activity involves the organisation of a regional workshop to address issues shared by countries in the Cluster that have implications for the sustainable management of sites across the region, as well as to support national events, initiatives and workshops organised within the period in the 7 countries.

Paricipating Organisations (Funding) : Contributions to the Regular Programme
Budget : US$ 50 000
