Résumé
This research work was carried out in the city of Tacna, whose field study was carried out in four secondary level educational institutions : I.E. Francisco Antonio de Zela, I.E. María Ugarteche of Mac Lean, I.E. Jorge Martorell Flores and I.E. Federico Barreto. The universe of the study includes a total of 387 fifth-year high school students. The problem statement arises from the absence of an effective culture of water in schoolchildren, even more so, when the main characteristic of the city of Tacna, is the permanent lack of water, due to its scarcity in the natural sources of the basin Caplina, evidenced by a limited supply of drinking water, just 16 hours of continuity. Therefore, the objective of the research was to determine if the “Blue Planet” methodology, implemented by the National Water Authority, in the aforementioned educational institutions, generates competencies ; whose hypothesis states that schoolchildren should have as a result, better habits and practices in the use of drinking water, developing a New Water Culture, in the city of Tacna. It is a descriptive, qualitative, non-experimental, prospective, longitudinal relationship study. For the collection of the data, the CAP type questionnaire (knowledge, attitudes and practices) was used, a tool that allows analyzing the knowledge that “should know”, attitudes that “should be thought” and practices that “should be carried out”. The result : 67.2% of schoolchildren have a good level of knowledge about water cycle processes, natural sources and resource scarcity in the Caplina basin. Regarding attitudes, 65.8% have favorable purposes to adapt to better water use habits ; However, 60.2% of schoolchildren have inadequate and unsustainable practices to achieve a New Water Culture, in the city of Tacna.

Mots clés Skills Evaluation, New Water Culture.
