Résumé
Two field experiments were carried out during three successive seasons 1994/1995, 1995/1996 and 1996/1997 at the Experimental farm of new valley Agricultural Research station, El-Kharga Oasis to evaluate the performance of nine alfalfa (Medicage sativa l.) varieties in the first experiment as well as to find out the most effective planting density on seed and forage production of alfalfa (Medicage sativa l.) in the second one.
