Résumé
The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of drought stress on some wheat cultivars grown under two growth stages :
(1)Early vegetative stage (short-duration treatment) :- eleven wheat cultivars were grown till 25 days to assess their drought tolerance.
(2)Fruiting stage (long- duration treatment) :- in this part four wheat cultivars differing in their drought tolerance were chosen from the preclassified eleven wheat cultivars. The four wheat cultivars (Seds 4, Giza 164, Sakha 69 and Sakha 61) were grown in an open field till maturity under different levels of drought stress.
