Food s e c u r i t y is one of the most s i g n i f i c a n t a3ns facing our country today to @ ?e the over population. This cm be achieved by r i s i n g the e f f i c iency of the present cultivated s o i l s md reclaiming I other new lands. Attentions must be first directed to the vipgin salt affected s o i l s and another paptscut off frorn the northern lakes before thinking ;in the desert reclamafiong’lhitations and problems in reclamation of fluvial, fluvio-mariae and Incus trine soila are little r a t h e r than the desert s o i l s .
