Résumé
The aim of this study is to determine the pomological characterization and some chemical properties of wild pomegranate genotypes in different regions in Turkey. In this context, 20 genotypes from two different regions of Mihalgazi district of Eskişehir, 4 genotypes from Mugla’s Dalaman district, 2 genotypes from Mersin’s Silifke district and 6 genotypes from Kadirli district of Osmaniye, 33 genotypes in total were investigated. As a result of the pomological examinations, genotypes were found to have fruit weights of 66.76-177.61 g, fruit widths of 51.79-71.19 mm and fruit heights of 43.55-59.32 mm. 14 genotypes were found to be sour, 16 genotypes were sweet and 1 genotype was very sour according to the sensory taste analyzes performed on wild pomegranate genotypes. As a result of chemical analyzes made in fruit juice samples, SÇKM was detected 13.00-23.40, pH 2.12-2.99 and total acidity was detected between %0.71-10.05. The total phenolic substance content, the total amount of anthocyanins and the antioxidative capacity values of genotypes determined in this study.
