Résumé
This research was carried out in the experimental field of Agriculture faculty, Eskişehir Osmangazi Üniversity, during 2007-2008 growing season to investigate agricultural characteristics of Pleasent x Kalaycı 97 cross under dry and irrigated conditions. The candidate and the control (Pleasent) were planted in completely randomized blocks design with four replication. Irrigation was applied two times as one at stem elongation other at heading stages. In the research, plant height, spike length, spike weight, grain number per spike, grain weight per spike, thousand kernel weight, harvest index were investigated. According to the results, yield and yield components proportionally increased by irrigation. Heritability estimates indicated that the candidate was affected by the conditions. The calculated linear regression indicated that yield components were positively correlated with grain yield under non irrigated and irrigated conditions. Evaluation of values over different conditions, it was found out that the Plesaent x Kalaycı 97 cross a proper genotype. The genotype could be succefuly grown in West Transitional Region because of its higher yield performance.
