Résumé
This research concerns the design of shelters in disaster cases and aims to find a novl solution depending on 3D printing technology. Initially, a general picture about the subject and how important it is has been introduced, then the post-disaster stages was clarified. After that, the shelters building principles were reviewed and adopted as a base for evaluating the shelters systems which are sudivided into : tents, prefabricated shelters and earth shelters. Moreover, all systems were supported with examples and details for concluding the general evaluation of the currently using techniques. In the other hand, in order to find a suitable solution, 3D printing technology was discussed in detail and all its properties were clarified. The final part of the research is the conclusion that contains a new design for a mud shelter and initial vision of how it could be made by 3D printing technique.
