Résumé
The climate, which is an indisputable influence on the products of traditional architecture, has become an ignorant factor with industrialization, developing technology and globalization in modern architecture. However, the sense of sustainability that began to be adopted along with the depletion of resources and the emergence of environmental problems in the 20th century, helped to bring importance to climate responsive design again. Environmental and climatic sensitivity maintains its importance and currency as a research topic. In this study, the relationship between climate and architectural design, climatic data affecting architectural design, climatic types in Turkey were investigated and climate responsive design parameters analysing by dividing into three main headings as settlement scale, building and space scale and building envelope and elements scale. It is discussed in this context, six village settlements selected from rural of Odunpazarı district of Eskisehir province obtained architectural data through field work about the settlement of the villages were evaluated by climate responsive design parameters with positive and negative aspect
