Résumé
Study the impact of FC percentage on : Growth criteria of Ruta graveolens plants. Percentage of yield content, chemical composition and antimicrobial activities of EO. Phytochemical composition, biological activities of methanol extract of the aerial parts of the plant. Gene expression patterns of key enzymes involved in flavonoids and coumarins biosynthesis pathway. It concluded that, the exposure of Ruta graveolens plants to moderate drought stress (50% FC) with 1.5 mM foliar application of SA decrease the dry weight by 38% in comparison to the control (untreated plants). On the other hand, it produced a significant increase in percentage of EO yield phytochemicals bioactive components of EO and its antimicrobial activities, Also significantly enhance the production of phenolic, flavonoid , flavonol and coumarin and alkaloid contents with significantly improving of extract cell free and cell system antioxidant activities in addition to improving production of bioactive compounds from the leaves as compared to control.
