Résumé
This study was carried out during 2016 to 2014 summer season at Experimental farm, Faculty of Agricultural, El-Minia University. The main objectives of this study were : Extract new maize inbred lines and evaluate its performance and their crosses under drought conditions and determined their ability for general combining ability (GCA) and specific combining ability (SCA) effects, also determined heterosis and elucidate the validity of base testers. Results showed that the investigated genotypes recorded highly variation useful in tolerate these genotypes to drought, ASI, Grain yield and its components and the effects of GCA and SCA in addition to heterosis. Results showed that the investigated inbred lines possessed variable heterosis and proved that the physiological criteria, agronomical, drought indices and molecular traits were showed its performance and its ability for determine the promising hybrid tolerate to drought.
