Présentation
’Genetic studies in extra large seeded kabuli chickpea’ is designed to cover all the aspects of genetic analysis in extra large seeded kabuli chickpea viz., genetic variability studies, diversity analysis, character association studies like correlation and path co-efficient analysis etc. In kabuli chickpeas, seed size and colour are important traits for whole seed consumption. Cultivation of large seeded kabuli chickpeas in India is gaining importance due to premium price offered compared to desi types. Very large (≥ 50 g test weight) kabulis are being sold at about three times the price of medium seeded (25 g test weight) types. so to meet the market preference for large and very large seeded types and also to identify extra- large seeded kabulis, the present investigation was undertaken.
