Objectifs _ The main aim of the research is to develop an integrated system to monitor groundwater resource in order to achieve sustainable hydrogeological development in Gulbarga watershed.

The objectives are :  Hydrogeological accounting of water table fluctuations and their correlations with respect to determinants of climatic and terrain features,  3D imaging of subsurface layers by using resistivity techniques and litholog data upto a depth of about100 meters,  Understanding the morphometric characteristics on the hydrological processes and integrating spatially distributed surface water changes through the coupling of hydrological model, and  Groundwater resources management.

Above objectives are discussed in this thesis to investigate the use of integrated hydrogeological applications to effectively monitor and manage groundwater resource of Gulbarga watershed, Gulbarga, Karnataka, India.
