Préface
The present study entitled "Effect of seasonal variation of nutrient
contents of some wild medicinal plants of Ganganagar Dist. (Raj.)" was
intended to study the effect of seasonal variation on nutrient contents of
various plant parts from a number of wild medicinal plants growing in
Ganganagar dist. Rajasthan.
For this work following plant species Tribulus terrestris
(Zygophyllaceae), Boerhaavia diffusa (Nytaginaceae), Citrullus colocynthis
(Cucurbitaceae), Convolvulus arvensis (Convolvulaceae) were selected. All
these species were collected from 7 Z, Ganganagar, Sadulsahar, Suratgarh,
and brought to the laboratory for their quantitative estimation of nutritive
contents and minerals.
The format of presentation of the present work is so designed that
chapter I contains introduction, chapter II review of literature, chapter III
study area and methedlogy, chapter IV results and discussions, chapter V
summary & conclusions & chapter VI have Bibliography. All datas
presented in the form of graph and tables some importants photographs also
included in thesis.
