Résumé
This research study is the result of a detailed analysis of ‘Impact on Rural Development of various Schemes implied by Z.P. in the Indian context. It is a analytical study of rural development through selected agro based schemes in Aurangabad district of Maharashtra State during a period of five years i.e. 2000-2005. The required data for this research work is collected through questionnaires and surveys on the basis of the samples selected from nine taluka places of the district. For recognizing the significance of farmers behaviour and effect of rural development schemes, tremendous amount of research in farmers motivation, personality, attitude, perception, learning, culture is carried by various reference groups such as family, caste, occupation, income, type of land, land holding etc. The study also presents the detailed investigation of impact on rural development of various, agro-based schemes such as Sprinkler Irrigation, Drip Irrigation, Organic farming, Improved Agriculture equipments, Cow dung scheme, Vermi compost and Well construction. The research study examines the influence of these schemes on rural development. The total research work is divided into seven different chapters. Chapter I is introductory in nature and it provides the basic needs and background for the whole study. Chapter II emphasis on the importance and the objectives of the rural development, history of rural development and panchayati raj institutions. Chapter III includes the reviews of literature to the concern research as such the topic includes the detailed review of research articles, books, papers and projects on the study. Chapter IV deals with the rural development environment. It covers detail study of demographic, economic, social and cultural factors which are involved in the rural development in Maharashtra. Chapter V includes socio-economic profile of Aurangabad district. Chapter VI highlights the data analysis and findings of the research work. The last chapter VII is the subject matter of summary, conclusion and important suggestions to overcome the problems faced by the farmers in rural India. This study will be useful to the agriculturist, Z.P. officers, research academicians, students for studying and framing the appropriate policies regarding the rural development.
