Titre : Morpho physiological attributes for drought resistance and their association with molecular markers in wheat

Auteur : Shukla, Sanyukta

Université de soutenance : Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya

Grade : Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Life Sciences 2013

Objectifs
Objectives outlined are listed below : 1. Phenotyping the parents and the WL711/C306 wheat RIL population for grain number, 1000-grain weight, grain yield and morpho-physiological traits like plant height, plant habit, cell membrane stability and coleoptile length at various locations including Delhi. Kamal and Indore under irrigated and water deficit stress environments. 2. Studying parental polymorphism and genotyping of the RIL population using microsatellite markers (SSR) and construct a genetic linkage map. 3. Studying the association between SSR markers and the traits studied and subsequent QTL identification.

Mots clés : Drought Resistance Grain Yield Molecular Markers
