Objectifs
Taking into account the need for study ofthe problem of infrastructure in the present study on attempts for a comprehensive and in depth analysis of the development of infrastructure and its various aspects in backward like Belgaum district in Karnataka State. However, the specific objectives of the study are as follows : 1. To examine the regional disparities in the development of infrastructure in Karnataka. 2. To study the regional disparities of trends and pattern of development of infrastructure in Belgaum district. 3. To study the regional disparities in the development of transport and communication facilities. 4. To analyse the regional disparities in the development of Education and Health in Belgaum district. 5. To identify the causes ofregional disparities in infrastructure. 6. To suggest measures to reduce the regional disparities in development of infrastructure in Belgaum district.
