Objectifs
The following objectives are considered for the present investigation Taxonomy of VAM spore and types, distribution and population dynamics in Dharwad. * Quantification ofVAM fungi in experimental plants. * Screening of VAM fungi for their symbiotic efficiency on medicinal plants. * Effect of VAM on growth, biomass production, and nutrient uptake of medicinal plants. * Interaction between VAM and other biofertilizers on medicinal plants. * Influence of VAM on the production of proteins and secondary metabolites (Phenols and Flavonols) in medicinal plants. * Antimicrobial properties of myeorrhizal and non-mycorrhizal medicinal plant.
