Objectifs
To strengthen the sustainable cultivation and increase the productivity of pulse legumes in drought and salinity affected areas of Haryana (India), inoculation of legumes with tolerant AMF strains is a better alternative. Keeping in view this, the research work was planed with following objectives : 1) To survey and enumerate different economically important legumes of Haryana 2) To study the biodiversity of AM fungi associated with some economically important legumes of Haryana 3) Mass multiplication of dominant arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi associated with some economically important legumes by using different hosts and substrates 4) To study the effect of different bioinoculants : AM fungi, Rhizobium sp. and Trichoderma viride on some physiological and biochemical parameters of some selected leguminous plants 5) To study the effect of AM fungi on some selected leguminous plants grown under saline conditions 158 6) To study the effect of AM fungi and Potassium on some selected leguminous plants under water stress at different growth stages

Mots clés : Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi Leguminous plants Salinity Water stress
