• To study the extent of women participation in dry land and irrigated agriculture operations in Davangere district. • To ascertain the factors influencing the level of women participation in dry land and irrigated agriculture in Davangere district. • To estimate the impact of mechanization on women employment in dry land and irrigated agriculture in Davangere district. • To evaluate the level of knowledge about agriculture technology among the women of dry land and irrigated agriculture in Davangere district. • To study the effect of extension participation, mass media exposure and social participation of women on their participation in agricultural activities. • To assess the role of women in agricultural decision-making and the effect of socio-economic factors on decision making.
