Objectifs
The following are the specific objectives of the present study. 1. To analyse the input utilization pattern, productivity, cost-return profiles of cotton production. 2. To measure the farm efficiency between small and large farms in cotton cultivation. 3. To identify the factors that responsible for determining the per acre value of output of cotton for small and large farms. 4. To assess the resource use efficiency of cotton production. 5. To identify the marketing channels for cotton and estimate the price spread in various channels. 6. To estimate the marketing efficiency of cotton cultivation of sample respondents. 7. To suggest suitable policy measures for the improvement of cotton cultivation and efficient marketing
