Objectifs
The specific objectives of the research project were ƒ To select superior planting material based on their yield and oil content. ƒ To evaluate the effect of coir pith soil less medium for growth of Jatropha curcas in dry area. ƒ To produce elite planting material of Jatropha curcas using macro and micropropagation ƒ To asses the efficiency of soilless coir pith medium in micropropagation. ƒ To develop low cost micropropagation medium using coconut water. ƒ To produce elite planting material of Jatropha curcas using micropropagation ƒ To produce value added products from glycerol.
