Objectifs
Following objectives were laid down to carry out this study : 1. To study the distributive pattern of Chowsingha in the study area. 2. To study the habit and habitat of the animal. 3. To study the feeding ecology of the antelope. 4. To study the reproductive behavior of the animal. (If possible) 5. To study the various ethological aspects like communication, parental care, territoriality, etc. 6. To identify the threats faced by the animal in the study area and suggest remedial measures. 7. To study the impact of modern development on status of species. 8. To compare the prehistoric and present western-most distribution limit of the species.
