Objectifs
This study is undertaken 1. to analyze the rainfall variability, number of rainy days, and the intensity of rainfall on a monthly, seasonal and an annual basis. 2. to identify the components of water balance of the region, namely potential evapotranspiration, actual evapotranspiration, moisture adequacy, water deficit, water surplus, moisture index and aridity index for a one month period. 3. to study the concentration index of land use, irrigation, intensity, cropping pattern, crop concentration, crop diversification and intensity of cropping pattern. 4. to calculate and analyze crop water requirement for selected crops, assess crop length growing period and suggest crop suitability for the division.
