Objectifs
General objective
The general objective of this study is to explain river Goro in terms of its major morphometric parameters, geomorphic processes, and hydraulics characteristics along its channel using secondary and primary data ; and finally to check whether there is temporal change in its morphology within given period.

Specific objectives
• To describe Goro watershed based on the quantitative analysis of linear and aerial morphometric parameters of river Goro. • To quantitatively explain the relation of stream orders to selected hydraulic parameters of river Goro. • To identify major geomorphic process operating in river Goro based on quantitative and qualitative account of downstream Changes in Morphology, grain sizes and Hydraulic Characteristics of River Goro. • To explain the channel adjustment behavior of river Goro based on its downstream channel geometry relations. • To investigate temporal changes in channel route, morphology and associated geomorphic processes of river Goro between the year 1966 and 2013 and the impact of land use/cover change on channel morphology.
