Objectifs
The overall objective of this research is to understand better the Women
Self Help Groups‟ products and their Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and
Threats in Chennai City. The specific objectives of the study are given below :
1. To study the formation and functions of Women Self Help Groups in
Chennai City.
2. To identify the overall business performance of Women SHGs in Chennai
City.
3. To evaluate the Strength, Weakness, and Opportunities and Threats of
Women SHGs and challenges faced to promote their products.
4. To find out the consumer attitude and preferences towards the Women Self
Help Group products and
5. To examine the factors influencing the purchase of Women SHGs’
products.
