Objectifs
So in order to have assessment on aquatic environment of fish pond in relation to fish culture and to adopt remedial measures for each pond, to improve fish production. It is found necessary to collect scientific data on various important parameters in a systematic and phased manner.

Keeping the view into consideration experiments were designed to fulfill the following objectives. 1. Characterization of Physico-chemical parameters of fish farm waters. 2. To find out the impact of various seasons on Physico-chemical features of certain fish farms(Gam-Talav) 3. Investigate the primary productivity and community respiration of certain fish ponds. 4. Study the algal flora of certain fish ponds. Such paucity of knowledge on an important subject prompted the present investigation
