Descriptif
Thus, the present study was focused to understand survival rate of striped hyena in a semi-arid protected area of western India. Also an attempt was made to understand resource utilization pattern of striped hyena in details which includes their habitat utilization, diet, breeding den site selection and spatio-temporal interaction with other carnivores in order to understand their sociality and threats to their population. Finally, synthesis of findings under the framework of Resource Dispersion Hypothesis to understand the underlying reasons of group formation and sociality was provided.
