The study is aimed at understanding of the Geomorphological, geological, and ecological character of Dudhaganga-Vedganga river basin ecosystem. The specific areas of interest are : 1) To study the geomorp’nic the basin. geo log^fc features of 2) To ascertain the stages of evolution of the main river valley and their tributory valleys by applying morphometric techniques. 3) To estimate the potential resources of the river basin ecosystem. 4) To prepare a Landuse capability classification map of the basin. /
