Résumé
The main objective of the present work is to study spatio temporal patterns of agriculture of Maharashtra. However, some specific objectives of the present study Are * to map and study spatio-temporal patterns of physical and non-physical determinants of agriculture. * to examine and analyse the spatio-temporal variations in the general landuse and cropping pattern in the State. * to adjudge the importance of interrelationships of technological factors with one another, * to study the regional pattern of the animal associations in the State. * to delineate the regions based on crop combination, crop concentration, crop diversification and ranking of the crops. * to map and assess the level of agricultural productivity in the State. * to map and analyse broad agricultural regions of Maharashtra.
