Descriptif
The study area has been investigated by a limited number ofGeo-scientists in geophysical point of view on the regional scale, but the detailed geophysical survey work was necessary to carry out and to obtain the subsurface heterogeneity of the area. Therefore, an attempt has been made to investigate the area on micro level. The resistivity investigation, field observation and laboratory studies in relation with the actual drilling data is useful to decide the reliability of dugwells and bore wells both in terms of success and quality of subsurface aquifer. The evaluation of the groundwater potential of the basin has been made with the help of remote sensing, geomorphological and hydrological information. Field studies have also helped to identify and establish the quality assessment of Sheri Nala basin.
