Résumé
The present research work deals with water quality parameters in correspond to hydrobiology of the Katphal Lake, Tal Sangola, Dist- Solapur (M.S.) India. Water of this lake is useful for drinking and irrigation practices. The lake is at the moment exposed to anthropogenic stresses. No earlier studies have been conducted on pollution condition and hydrobiology of this lake. The significance and conditions of this research study cannot be appreciated without monitoring some of the fundamental properties of freshwater resources, in the universe over, India in general and state of Maharashtra in specific. newline Water is vital for the all living things without it, there would no life. It is one of the basic desires of human kind and is important resource used for different activities such as drinking, irrigation, fish production, industrial cooling, power generation and many others. The connections of physical and chemical content of water show significant role in composition, spreading and richness of aquatic organisms at all steps of life, cellular to environment. Aquatic organisms necessary a well environment with enough nutrients for their growth and development. Basic needs of human depend on these resources
