Objectifs
• to examine the importance of groundnut crop in the rural economy, 21to analyse the trends in production and productivity of groundnut crop at different levels of groundnut growing countries and the states, • to study the trends in the production and productivity of oilseeds in general and groundnut crop in the study area, • to study the market structure ofgroundnut crop in Andhra Pradesh, • to study the perception of groundnut growers regarding to the production and marketing of groundnut crop, • to suggest the suitable measures to improve the groundnut production and for efficient marketing system of groundnut crop in the rain fed area like Anantapur district.
