Titre : Studies on wasteland shrubs the source of biomass productivity

Auteur : Vishwanathrao, Marlegaonker Geeta

Université de soutenance : Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University

Grade : Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Botany 2004

Objectifs
The objectives of experimental studies were : 1. Cultivation of wastelands through shrubl^nd^species suitable for this region, fast growing type, sustain to regrowth harvest and palatable forage. 2. Harvest management for high productivity. 3. Biomass with high nutrition. 4. Raising of shrub in nursery, plantation and harvesting shrubland species to study the regeneration ability. Tree plants were allowed to grow much before. 5. Interculturing of grasses and their harvests technology for biomass recovery and studies on nutritional components. 6. To understand biomass productivity, recombination of plant species taken for experimental trial to measure crude protein yield’s / unit area. 7. To recommend specific grass combination with shrubland species for high biomass yields. 8. To investigate the effect of tree environment on biomass, drymatter and crude protein under tree environments. 9. The effect of harvest techonology on regeneration ability under different set of environments and combinations of shrubland species with grasses of different types.
