Objectifs
The main objectives of this research are given below. i) To study the environmental factors of Osmanabad district and effect of these environmental factors on agricultural from 1984- 85 to 2003-04. ii) To highlight the cultural factors of Osmanabad district and its effect on agriculture during the period selected for study. iii) To verify the transformations taken place in general land use in Osmanabad district from 1984-85 to 2003-04 iv) To explain the changes taken place in agricultural land use in Osmanabad district during the period under study. v) To discuss the Tahsilwise (block wise) variations in the agricultural production of Osmanabad district from 1984-85 to 2003-04. vi) An attempt has also been made to identify agricultural regions ofthe Osmanabad district. vii) To study the agricultural changes of selected sample villages from Osmanabad Tahsil.
