Objectifs
1. To suggest means to control runoff from damaging soil and vegetation and divert the excess runoff water for useful purpose. 2. To explore ways to protect, conserve and improve the lands of watershed for more efficient and sustained crop production . 3. To focus on the means to protect and enhance the storage of surface water resources originating in the watershed. 4. To suggest to check the soil erosion and to reduce the effect of sediment yield in the watershed. 5. To bring to light the irrigation methods to conserve water resources for agricultural purposes for different crops. 6. To explore methods and measures to reduce the intensity of floods at the downstream areas. 7. To promote methods to suggest the increase of infiltration of rainwater to improve the groundwater levels in the watershed. 8. To suggest the groundwater recharge methods whereever applicable to enhance the water table levels in the wells. 9. To suggest the measures to enhance the agricultural productivity and production in a sustainable manner. 10. To delineate the groundwater potential zones with the help of Satellite data.
