Objectifs
Midnapur district-east is practically an agricultural area. Between the Kharif and Boro seasons , Boro crops (mainly boro paddy and potato) are grown under direct influence of ground water. It is due to scarcity of surface water in the region.. In some occasions of rainfall irregularity during the monsoon period, ground water is21 effectively used to grow Aman paddy. So one of the most important main aim is to find out the correlation between ground water input and agricultural output by analysing regional ground water potentiality pattern in association with pedology and climatic condition with agricultural practices there. A sustainable agricultural plan may be prepared to reach the maximum benefit of yield without affecting the ecological balance. Using this method will benefit the farmers as well as the society as a whole will be benefited by the findings on using this method .They will follow in proper way and timely grow food crops and timely in order to become self sufficient.
