Projet en bref
* Contexte : In East Africa and Horn of Africa, migrants mainly follow three migration routes : a) Southbound towards South Africa( via Kenya) b) Eastbound route across the Red Sea towards Gulf/Saudi Arabia c) North route towards Mediterraneen SeajEurope. Migration is a core coping strategy for many children and youth in East Africa, including the Horn of Africa (HOA), due to climate change ; political transitions, conflicts : such as the current conflict in the Tigray region, poor education and livelihood opportunities and high population density.
* Objectifs  : Countries (Egypt, Ethiopia and Sudan) along the East African Migration Routes adopt policies which include the regional dimensions of migration phenomenon and develop adequate organizational capacities among state and non-state actors to ensure protection of children youth and enable their self-reliance in vulnerable displacement situations.
* Groupes cibles  : - Direct across the 3 countries (Eqypt, Ethiopia and Sudan) : This project will target children (under 18 years of age) and youth (up to-24 years of age). 80% of the targeted population are of migrant communities and 20% persons from host communities. - Direct beneficiaries coverinq 3 countries : 26,901 (13873 females and 13028 males). - Indirect beneficiaries coverinq 3 countries : Approximately 210000 of migrants and host communities
