Objectifs
The project aims at improving land transportation services and traffic safety on roads in most of the Tunisian governorates, linking agricultural production areas with markets and export facilities, and alleviating the isolation of rural areas. This will be achieved through the increase in the efficiency of the classified road network, and the construction and improvement of a large number of rural roads.
Descriptif
The project, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2017, includes the rehabilitation and strengthening of a large number of segments of the classified road network, and the construction and improvement of a large number of rural roads, in addition to technical services required for construction supervision and quality control.
Coût du projet : KD 72.9 million
Montant du prêt : KD 50.0 million
(*) 1 KD is equivalant to about = 3.3227 USD
Financement : The Arab Fund’s loan covers about 69% of the total project cost. The Tunisian Government will cover the remaining cost of the project and any additional cost that may arise.
