Objectif (s) : To strengthen Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL) Sector coordination to ensure quality, effective and efficient humanitarian response, and improve life-saving livelihood support to vulnerable internally displaced persons and host communities in Darfur.

Activités
* Co-led the FSL Sector, involving 95 stakeholders, conducting 64 coordination meetings, collecting and disseminating information on the humanitarian response and supporting assessments to facilitate an effective and efficient response. * Distributed 117 tonnes of cereal, legume and vegetable seeds (52 tonnes of sorghum, 26 tonnes of potatoes, 10 tonnes of cowpeas, 11 tonnes of chickpeas, 11 tonnes of pigeon peas, 6 tonnes of broad beans, 925 kg of okra, 250 kg of watermelon, 100 kg of carrot, 40 kg of tomato), 1 500 digging hoes, 1 500 weeding hoes and 500 donkey ploughs to 10 350 households. * Provided on-the-job trainings on improved crop husbandry practices, post-harvest handling and sustainable management of natural resources for all beneficiaries. * Procured 1.5 million vaccine doses and vaccinated 450 000 sheep and goats against haemorrhagic septicaemia (HS), sheep pox, peste des petits ruminants and 50 000 cattle against HS, black quarter and contagious bovine pleuro-pneumonia, benefiting 6 000 households. * Treated and dewormed 27 528 livestock animals, including cattle, small ruminants, camels, donkey and horses, belonging to 2 700 households, against the most common endemic diseases.* Trained representatives from 8 700 households on animal health and feeding.* Distributed 900 lactating goats, 45 tonnes of concentrated animal feed and 1.5 tonnes of mineral supplements to 300 households. * Trained 175 women who headed their household on manufacturing and use of fuel-efficient stoves.
