Présentation
The main objective of this project is to provide water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services and supplies for affected people, including children displaced due to the conflict in Tigray. This UNICEF project provides freshwater supply through emergency water trucking and rehabilitation of water systems, construction of emergency latrines, building of hand washing facilities, promotion of hygiene practices including risk communication and community education for COVID-19, and distribution of WASH items. The project provides life-saving assistance to 280,000 people, including 53,200 women, 47,600 men, 179,200 children, and including 47,600 people with disabilities.
