Présentation
The proposed project aims to contribute to the reduction of morbidity and mortality of the host communities, IDP and refugee population by scaling up the availability and quality of health care for children suffering from complications of acute severe malnutrition, increasing access and quality of emergency care in referral structures addressing the ongoing outbreaks of vector borne disease through vector control measures and . The project is planned and designed in close coordination with FMOH, SMOH, and other UN agencies such as UNICEF and UNFPA. The project will be implemented in 31 localities in 6 states (Khartoum, Gedareff, Kassala, River Nile, Red Sea state and Gezeira). Output 1 WHO project aims to decrease avoidable under five morbidity and mortality related to severe acute malnutrition through improved access and quality of inpatient care for the Sever Acute Malnutrition (SAM) with medical complications through supporting 20 SCs in 6 States/19 localities. Output 2 Access to and quality of emergency health care in hospitals serving as referral structures is improved through regular supply of essential medicines of medical supplies. Output 3 High transmission of water and vector borne diseases is controlled through regular water quality testing support to vector control activities. This project targets 7,696 affected people with its Health engagement, 382,498 with its Nutrition engagement and 1,443,538 affected people with its WASH engagement
