Présentation
The overall objective of the proposed project is to to reduce avoidable morbidity and mortality among drought affected communities in Somali and Oromia regions. WHO and partners implement activities related to management of severe acute malnutrition with medical complications, treatment of increasing numbers of endemic communicable diseases that threaten to reach epidemic levels especially among the most vulnerable drought-affected communities such as displaced people and remote communities. WHO fills urgent emergency medical supplies gaps in Somali and Oromia regions, provide 100 Emergency Health Kits (IEHK) and 65 cholera kits. The project provides humanitarian assistance to 33,303 people, including 8,152 women, 7,833 men and 17,318 children. This project reaches 5,861 people with disabilities.
