Présentation
The main objective of this project is to prevent, mitigate and respond to gender-based violence (GBV) in conflict-affected communities across Tigray region. This UNFPA project provides comprehensive services to GBV survivors, including health and psychosocial support and referral to other services. At one-stop centers (integrated into referral hospitals) in zonal capitals of Tigray, women and girl survivors receive GBV case management services, medical support and mental health referrals. The centers also provide psychosocial support to women and girls at risk of GBV. UNFPA offers sexual and reproductive (SRH) health services at women and girls-safe-spaces in displaced and host communities and provides dignity kits to women and girls of reproductive age to address their menstrual hygiene and self-care needs. The project provides assistance to136,572 people, including 61,664 women, 20,320 men, 54,588 children, and including 13,742 people with disabilities.
