Présentation
UNFPA will use the $500,000 from CERF to ensure basic emergency obstetric and new-born care, improve access to information on reproductive health and gender-based violence through outreach campaigns and ensure improved GBV service provision for women and girls in health facilities. UNFPA estimates that 3,618 deliveries will be assisted by skilled birth attendants and 1,851 birth complications managed appropriately. 2,246 persons will receive family planning counselling. 16,300 people will receive psychosocial support and information on sexual and reproductive health through outreach campaigns and 2,340 will receive modern contraceptive methods through the outreach campaigns. 100 women and girls will access integrated clinical management of rape services and 1,342 psychosocial support. In total, the project will support 29,242 drought-affected people, including 24,856 women and 2,923 girls.
