Présentation
With CERF funding, UNHCR conducts referrals to protection services based on vulnerability assessments ; operates a community center from which legal assistance, psychosocial support (PSS), child protection and services related to gender-based violence (GBV) are delivered ; and provides emergency cash assistance to highly vulnerable displaced persons with specific and urgent needs not covered by the broader multi-purpose cash assistance in Marib governorate. In Al-Jawf, UNHCR implements five quick impact projects in informal hosting sites for displaced people. In the shelter sector, UNHCR assists the most vulnerable displaced families in Marib, in urgent need of help to pay their rent and avoid imminent eviction, with rental subsidy assistance. UNHCR also provides emergency shelters and non-food item kits to families newly displaced in both governorates. UNHCR provides assistance 204,000 displaced Yemenis in Marib and 53,000 displaced Yemenis in Al Jawf
