Objectifs
The main objectives were : * To promote rain water harvesting in Ghazi Sub Location of Ngolia Location. * Construct 1 sand dam along Mwalenjo river. * Provide water for use in small scale irrigation by 100 households along the river.

Présentation
This is a project whereby MAZIDO wanted to demonstrate how to collect storm water to be used during the dry season.

Réalisations
MAZIDO constructed one Sand Dam along Mwalenjo Seasonal River which has been able to retain sufficient amount of rain water to last 3 months after the rains. The Dam is used by humans, cattle and wildlife/Elephants during the dry season.
